HashTab v3.0 adds an exta tab to the file properties window that calculates and compares the checksums of the file.

HashTab v1.8 is released!
More languages are supported. Fixed a crash bug when cancelling large file hashes. Fixed a problem where the file handle was not being closed in some circumstances. To upgrade, just run the new installer.

Hi Guys,
This looks great. Does anyone have much experince of this utility? It would be great to roll out to our clients here, but what with fixes for crashes coming out I'm not sure I want to risk unleashing it on joe public.

Fencer128, The problem was, when hashing a large file say 400MB it takes a fairly long time (which is normal) but if you aborted it it would crash explorer.
Now though that seems to be fixed completely but you may want to use it yourself for a while before rolling it out  |

Yet another great addon that is also missing from the official addon download page.
Again, had to use the search button...
Both (calcplus and hashtab) were created by Xable.
Might this be simple coincidence?

Again:
I removed it from the downloads thread because i always forget to update the version numbers there and i don`t want obsolete version info there, but, ryan wants them to be listed there so just ignor the version numbers for my addons.
