well, AFAIK, the only difference between IE8 for xp/2k3 is IE.INF, so you can consider making your pack like this:

Addon\IE.inf ------------->2k3
Addon\pro\IE.inf ------------>xp
Addon\home\IE.inf ------------>xp

Does anyone know of an IE8 addon for x64?

Perhaps I should try the addon maker? Or wouldn't it work for an x64 version?

Hello User, No addon maker does not create the IE8 addon for x64, I think we need to wait for nLite

Here's how to disable "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" and allow free surfing without those stupid popups asking you to add the website to the zone etc...

This tweak will also set "Google.com" as homepage, or you can just replace the google url in the tweak below to any url you like as homepage.

Updated IE Universal Addon Creator. Now it supports IE tweaks and creation issue should be worked around.
If your AV whines when you run the addon maker, don't worry: verify the executable on Virustotal.com and then stop the AV Wink

KB2362765 hasn't been updated for Win2k3 either. I used files from Vista's update package for my x64 IE8 addon.
