v341 won't play mp3 files. error- "can't play,burn,rip or sync because a required audio codec is not installed on your computer". When I use OPiece wmp-11 addon the files play.

Clean source xpsp3 vol_en ; latest rvmi; UH 139 update pack, wmp-11 addon. Used VM and live install. results the same as listed above.

[Addon] Windows Media Player 11 for XP/MCE/2k3 3.4.4

i click on the download and all i get is a timer
after the timer i get Download Error

normaly it is only one timer, but the site does not like download managers
and gives that error
after a page refresh or reaccess it obviously shows that timer again

even bigger time to wait... to bypass, change the IP and use "delete browsing history" with all the options ticked
how greedy those uploading sites Smile

and of course uninstall IDM temporary Cool

, when reinstalling it recollects all paths without errors or file loss

filesonic is shocking, they have no right to exist....

I don't use download managers it just doesn't function.... 10 min to get it to a point where it will pretend to give me a download so far 15 mins pretending it will actually start.

mediafire I have always found to be by far the best and always works perfectly

Hey yumeyao I notice you dont include the files that go in "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Media Connect 2", can you tell me why and what do they do?

Are they used for uninstall or something?

Edit: Yep never noticed, uninstall stuff...I will remove them from my pack

Nevermind! I found a way to add the skins i wanted, i simply changed the references from revert.wmz in the wmp.inf and the wmp.ini files to the Xbox.wmz skin and XboxLive.wmz skin.

This addon is still up to date. Microsoft has shifted its focus to WMP12, which I believe is for Win7 only.
