I confirm 5eraph's findings. And going to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/, it's LABELED on the page as .26, but when you download it, file properties identify it as .23 or .22 depending on ax or not. This is also true if you download from the "other browsers" link available on that page. Probably an adobe screw up? I have not installed any of these files but just downloaded and checked file properties.

Yes, but 64-bit support is limited to Win7, unfortunately.

Ok, for the idiots among us (mostly me)....

Is it necessary to install both 32 and 64 bit flash or do the 64 bit packages cover all the bases?

The targeted system is win7/64 but the browsers (Opera/Firefox and MSIE) are 32 bit.

Just to be clear, the 64-bit installers will only work on 64-bit operating systems. That is, although the 64-bit installer does install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Flash Player on the system, they are not universal installers because they do not work on 32-bit systems.

I'm not sure why Adobe doesn't just make them compatible with 32-bit systems. Seems like that would make more sense.
